I had just painted a piece that reminded me a little bit of Heaven, and I’m not quite sure what took over, but I became a little angry afterward. I felt darkness and just wanted to paint the opposite. So here’s what happened, and I was a little surprised. I’m usually a bright soul, butContinue reading “To Hell with It.”

Wood Burned / Oil Frame.
This was the first wood-burned frame I made a couple years ago incorporating some oil paints. I love using oil paints because they are very blendable and enhance the design you burn into the wood, but it just takes a long time to dry. A good experiment, more where that came from!
New Life.
The beginning of something new. This could mean a lot of things, but to me it looks like the conception of life. A child in the womb perhaps.
Angelic.

I took that color sample and did my very best to match exactly what the interior design wanted to portray,Continue reading “Growth.”
